- I would imagine a VHS deck would be longer. I think that most VHS decks
- have like a 5 second pre-roll. On most decent Sony BetaCamSP decks you can
- get down to 2.01 seconds of pre-roll. If you're application won't allow you
- to have ANY pre-roll a consideration might be a V-LAN controller; or getting a
- Akebas A65 (or similar) digital recorder.
