- I've come across a large number of files encoded with a .JPG format.
- GIF, BMP, TIF I understand. JPG? I'm not familiar with this at all?
-
- Are these files based upon the JPEG compression scheme? What?
-
- Just as important, where are any .JPG -> .GIF | .BMP converters?
-
- Thanks to everyone who responds on the net in advance!
- John

- Any statements / opinions made here are mine, alone, not the Navy's.
- But that's OK, the Navy is usually wrong anyhow.
