- Many thanks to those who responded to my earlier post! I should have been
- more specific about what I was looking for. I need a "high-end" graphics
- board for work in computer graphics. I'd love to go with Silicoln Graphics,
- etc., but I'm afraid it's not in the budget right now. The board MUST have
- the following minimal characteristics:
-
- 1) Texas Instruments TMS34020 processor
- 1) 24-bit color, minimum 1024 x 768 resolution.
- 2) EISA or MCA board.
- 3) OS/2 2.0 drivers.
- 4) Must be available and working _NOW_.
- 5) Budget is about $2000, can be increased if essential for performance.
-
- If anyone has experience with such a _LIVE_ system, or with vendors of
- TMS34020-based products in general, I'm all ears.
-
- Please no feuds about the performance of EISA vs. MCA vs. LocalBus. I
- followed that thread for awhile, "did some homework" at the library, and
- have made some binding decisions for my particular situation.
-
- Thanks in advance,
