- I just bought one of Leading Edge's new Mini Tower computers. It's a
- fairly nice machine: 486DX/33, 210M drive, 4M RAM, FLASH BIOS, 64K (to
- 256K), CPU card (claims to be upgradable to Pentium). The dealer told me
- that Leading Edge had been including ATI graphics cards in their machines,
- so I expected an ATI card in mine. What I received was a Trident 8900C card
- with 1M RAM in a local bus slot. I am not familar with Trident and the
- docs are not very informative.
-
- Questions:
- Is this card accelerated?
-
- It's a regular ISA card, so will I get any benefit from the local
- bus slot?
-
- There is no mention of what type local bus slot is in the
- machine. Is there a way to tell if it's VESA or some other type?
