  11. We have recently upgraded our emacs from 18.55 to 18.59 and also
  12. defined HAVE_X_WINDOWS.  Now, 'emacs -nw' works fine inside the xterm
  13. window, but 'emacs' with a separate X window pops up without any
  14. working local key bindings.  The keypads on our NCD X terminals are
  15. now simply numerical, and on the PCs running Hummingbird eXceed
  16. emulation software the previously defined PageUp, PageDown, etc., have
  17. stopped working.  This exceeds my feeble understanding of emacs and X.
