  16. i recently grabbed a copy of Ajay Shekhawat's <ajay@cs.Buffalo.EDU>
  17. "linenumbers.el" from archive.cis.ohio-state.edu, and have been trying
  18. ever since to get it to always be invoked whenever i create a new
  19. buffer -- i've got it explicitly loaded in my .emacs, but i still have
  20. to explicitly (load-file) it within every buffer in order to have it
  21. present...why?
