- I was reading the Australia / New Zealand issue of Borland Connection
- and saw an ad for an editor called "ED" (imaginative name, huh?). Apparantly
- it comes in DOS and Windows versions, and is meant to be really hot
- stuff by the look of the quotes they printed in the ad (eg "ED has obviously
- been well thought out by a software developer as a 'dream come true'
- tool for other sofwtare developers" - UK British Aerospace, Aug 92,
- "ED is _the_ most comprehensive, flexible, tailourable and productive
- editor the evaluation team has ever seen. It far excels editors such
- as Brief, Winedit, Qedit..." - UK British Aerospace, Aug 92).
-
- I've been thinking of buying a decent editor for my PC (DOS based, I
- don't like Windows) and I was leaning towards Brief because of its builtin
- programming language (I'm used to using the Prime version of Emacs at
- work, with its PEEL language), but if this ones better... Has anybody
- seen it? The ad said it was "developed by: Soft As It Gets Pty Ltd",
- which I guess is an Ausi company.
