  22. I do not know, but I hope that if someone wants to "extend" it, he/she
  23. [a] does not misrepresent the original in any way, [for example, by calling
  24. the "extended" version "sam"], [b] spends some time thinking thorough the
  25. reasons for extending, or to put it differently, gives at least as much
  26. thought as Pike did.

  28. I happen to think that the best thing to do is to borrow the good
  29. ideas from "sam", and rewrite it. [Peter DaSilva has all the fun]
