  17. I'm looking for some information about hardware and software that you might
  18. be using for video DSP work.

  20. I'm responsible for setting up a Sun Sparc2 workstation to run some
  21. experiments on video DSP; we need at least 8 bits of resolution (would like
  22. to have up to 12 bits); we are currently doing some simple experiments with
  23. an Actel ASIC that's sampling at 14MHz and be need to at least match that;
  24. finally we'd like to have some 'good' software to control the DSP.

  26. Could you please pass along some advice on which DSP boards, software, etc.
  27. that you are using, and what experience you're having. I'm especially
  28. interested in programmability, and would like to find the best
  29. hardware/software combintation.
