- Cisco makes a High Speed Serial Interface (HSSI) for connection to
- DS3 (T3) speed communications equipment.

- The DSU (Data Service Unit) will physically connect to the C&P Telephone
- wiring. DSu devices that support our HSSI interface are available now
- or in the future from T3Plus Networking, Kentrox, and Digital Link.

- The HSSI interface requires an AGS+/3 or AGS+/4 with a cBus controller.
- The interface itself consists of two parts: the CSC-HSCI (HSSI interface
- card) and the APP-LHS (HSSI applique). In addition, the HSSI requires software
- version 8.3 or later.
