  28. Cisco makes a High Speed Serial Interface (HSSI) for connection to
  29. DS3 (T3) speed communications equipment.

  31. The DSU (Data Service Unit) will physically connect to the C&P Telephone
  32. wiring. DSu devices that support our HSSI interface are available now
  33. or in the future from T3Plus Networking, Kentrox, and Digital Link.

  35. The HSSI interface requires an AGS+/3 or AGS+/4 with a cBus controller.
  36. The interface itself consists of two parts: the CSC-HSCI (HSSI interface
  37. card) and the APP-LHS (HSSI applique). In addition, the HSSI requires software
  38. version 8.3 or later.
