- I have had no problems with my Supra. It is just plug-n-go after some
- initial fidling to learn it. Only line where I do have problems is known
- to be bad. Where I worked before we disabled the 1k packets when
- exchanging mail with the city in the other end of the line. Smaller
- packets was better, as that gave smaller packets to resend. And that was
- a 2400 baud modem. With my Supra I have no problems at 4800 baud,
- and can have a fairly good connection at 7200, but will often here also
- receive a few transmit/receive errors. I have bugged the telecom with
- this one.
-
- Calling the Supra BBS in the USA (I live in Denmark) was no problem at
- 14400 baud. And the international lines are quite noisy, and there is a
- regular click every 2 or 3 seconds on them.
-
- Very good experience.
-
- But it just lost the connection to the line. A phone to the modem phone
- connector worked, but the modem would not see rings, and neither could
- it get a dialtone. I called Supra Germany, and got permission to send
- it to them, even though I had bought it in the USA. Nice service.
