- Well let me be the first to say something bad about the Intel 400!
- It can be a problem when used in a non-DOS environment (e.g. OS/2).
- This is because it stores its configuration in volitile RAM. I
- don't know why such a high end modem didn't use flash memory but
- there you are.

- That said, I must say that I am generally pleased with mine. Once I got
- native OS/2 communications and fAX software I found it works very well. Its
- nice to download at 14,400 in backgound while editing and printing. Also
- they have fixed the problem with FAxing at 14,400 by releasing a software
- upgrade. I've installed it but have not tested it (can't find a 14,400
- fax!).
