  11. Anybody who has got the silent answer working ?
  12. The only docs I have about this is the rom upgrade notice that says
  13. something about S0 - 0 and S0 = 0, so what does this mean ?
  14. No matter what value S0 is, I can not get any response from the modem
  15. when a fax is calling, and my answering machine is kicking in.
  16. I get the 4 rings until the answering machine kicks in, and then no
  17. further info is sent to my terminal.
  18. Please help.

  20. My modem also has lost contact to the outher world after 3 days of use
  21. :-(  A phone connectesd to the phone connector works, bu the modem can
  22. not get a dialtone or pick up the phone.  Good news is, that I could
  23. send it to Supra in Germany, even though I bought it in the USA.
  24. Guess it is the relay that went bad.

  26. It was difficult to et through on the number listed in this group, and
  27. when I got through, I got another number for tech support, where I had
  28. no problems at all. So if you want it it is here:

  30. not sdure about the first zero. but it is like the other numbers listed,
  31. just ending in 8.
