  11. I would like to get a high speed fax/modem that will detect incoming
  12. calls.  I've heard people praise the Intel/400, but I wonder if the
  13. onboard processor is really necessary for someone with only ordinary
  14. uses in store for the modem.  I don't know that I'll be doing all that
  15. much background d/ling.  Will it still make for an improvement for
  16. normal everyday usage?

  18. What about this Digicom Scout+ or the QuickComm Spirit II?  I saw the
  19. latter advertised in a magazine recently but I'd never heard of it
  20. before.  Do either of these have incoming call detect features?
