- I would like to get a high speed fax/modem that will detect incoming
- calls. I've heard people praise the Intel/400, but I wonder if the
- onboard processor is really necessary for someone with only ordinary
- uses in store for the modem. I don't know that I'll be doing all that
- much background d/ling. Will it still make for an improvement for
- normal everyday usage?
-
- What about this Digicom Scout+ or the QuickComm Spirit II? I saw the
- latter advertised in a magazine recently but I'd never heard of it
- before. Do either of these have incoming call detect features?
-
- Any input would be appreciated.
-
- Thanks,
- Mike
