- Been using pcAnywhere 4.5 for the past 6 months or so here. We use the
- LAN version so that users at our WAN sites can run applications at our
- central LAN site without having to put up with slow 128Kb throughput.
-
- Version 4.5 with NetBIOS connectivity works great under DOS, as does the
- dial-up module for async communications. Very stable, the inactivity time-
- out feature now works as advertised (a must for dial-up use).
-
- Now for the bad news: I never could get it to work under OS/2 1.3 or 2.0.
- Granted, I've only tried NetBIOS and not serial support. If you want, I can
- try that before you go out and buy the package.
