- Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice on a v32bis
- modem that can hack the long distance calls. (To put it bluntly)
- I recently owned a v32 turbo (12K) modem, only had MNP2-4, but
- would always get 12K/MNP with v32bis modems Overseas's and 2400/MNP
- with HST modems.
- Now I own a Supra v32bis FAX Modem, what a DUD for calls
- oversea's. I'm LUCKY to get a connect, never seen a good 14.4K
- yet. Often get NO error correction at all. Bit of a let down
- when this modem has superior features to my old one.
-
- So any suggestions?
-
- Thanks.
