  20. They had a "trade-in" and a "trade-up" program.
  21. The trade-in provide a new modem of same type HST->HSTnew,
  22. DUAL->DUALnew, etc., for $299 plus your old modem.
  23. The trade-up allowed you to take any old 9600 modem from
  24. HST (courier, V.32) and send it in with $349 and receive back
  25. their newest DUAL-with-FAX model.

  27. They also had V.32 upgrade boards for the newer 14.4 HST's and 
  28. FAX upgrades for newer DUALS.

  33. I sent two original Courier's in and received Duals. - It took 
  34. a month longer than they promised, they sent them COD even though
  35. it was prepaid, and it took weeks of calls and faxes to straighten
  36. it out - I was one totally frustrated cat <g>.
