  12. I have a USR Dual Standard 16.8k without FAX. I've called USR and they
  13. don't seem to be able to tell me exactly what the $75 upgrade would entail,
  14. only that I must send it in. (So much for "field upgradable".)

  16. Can someone enlighten me? Is this a ROM upgrade, a daughterboard swap,
  17. a wholesale modem replacement?
