  13. After much grief, I have discovered something about the
  14. Supra V.32 and V.32bis modems.

  16. Configure the modem with %E0 not %E1.  With %E1 my Supra
  17. modems (I have 3) would usually go into fatal retraining at any
  18. speed over 2400. (The modem would retrain until the remote
  19. system timed out and hungup.)

  21. With %E0 my modems will now usually connect and stay connected at
  22. speeds of 9600-14400.
