  11. I've got a 1496E with 5.02 firmware, and have noticed that the modem sometimes
  12. doesn't hang up when DTR goes off, even though I have set &D3.  This happens
  13. when connected to a Sun IPX running 4.1.2 and the 1.4beta version of
  14. MorningStar's PPP package.  I called ZyXEL's tech support in California and
  15. the person told me that there's a delay built into V.42 (&K4) between DTR off
  16. and hang up.  However, this behavior is reproducible without V.42 (using &K0
  17. or &K2).  (The software was working fine with a Telebit WorldBlazer last
  18. week.)

  20. Has anyone seen similiar behavior?  Any ideas?
