- I've got a 1496E with 5.02 firmware, and have noticed that the modem sometimes
- doesn't hang up when DTR goes off, even though I have set &D3. This happens
- when connected to a Sun IPX running 4.1.2 and the 1.4beta version of
- MorningStar's PPP package. I called ZyXEL's tech support in California and
- the person told me that there's a delay built into V.42 (&K4) between DTR off
- and hang up. However, this behavior is reproducible without V.42 (using &K0
- or &K2). (The software was working fine with a Telebit WorldBlazer last
- week.)
-
- Has anyone seen similiar behavior? Any ideas?
-
- Thanks,
- Tim
