- I had someone tell me that the ZyXEL modems (the 1496E specifically)
- did not support fall-forward if the line conditions improved.

- I have datasheet the implies that the modem has both fall-back and
- fall-forward. Is this a relatively new addition or was this person
- misinformed? (I am assuming the data sheet is correct.)
