  12. I have the following problem:
  13. I live in Switzerland and I would like to transfer ascii files (letters)
  14. from and to South Africa. My machine and my partner's machine in SA are
  15. IBM-compatible PCs, both equipped with a 2400baud modem. To save money,
  16. we would like to keep the connection-time as short as possible. Therefore
  17. the connection-establishment phase should be minimized (in no case
  18. interactive!).

  21. Does anybody know a convenient (maybe public domain) communication SW
  22. to solve this problem? How and where can I get it?
