- I recently did a large project on a RS6000/AIX for a company which involved a
- good database. I really recommended SYBASE to them, but after they have talked
- to SYBASE sales-people, they wanted about 20000 US$ for a SQL-Server and
- DB-Library. PLUS those expensive support fees.

- Finally, really to my regret, they decided to use INGRES which costed about
- half the price and included telephone support. Sigh !
