- One of our old ORACLE V5.1 DBs crashed because of a system failure.
- When I try to bring ORACLE up again it attempts to recover but the
- before image file seems to be corrupt.
-
- Is there a way to bring ORACLE up WITHOUT the recovery procedure,
- ignoring the old BI file, and supplying a new one?
-
- The system is an IBM RT/PC under AIX 2.2.1.
