  14. You might want to check AREV by Revelation Technologies.  It allows for 
  15. variable length records and fields within the records up to a current max
  16. of 64K per record.  It has the abilities to do intertable links in whatever
  17. fashion you design.  It has SQL query incorporated into it.

  20. investigating more deeply.  By the way, it only runs on ibm/ms style DOS.

  22. I'm not associated with Revelation Technologies in any way other than I
  23. develop in AREV so I like to see its user base get larger so it becomes an
  24. even more stable product.  It has evolved continually over the last 10 years
  25. from a near PICK spinoff to much more (at least as far as I can tell by
  26. listening to the old timers that use it).
