- i seriously considered visual basic and codebase 4.5... but i'm better now.

- i went from s87 to 5.0, then 5.01. i *didn't* like 5.0, but i've found
- 5.01 to be fine (haven't got 5.01a yet). i find 5.01 great, yup, industrial
- strength. the best thing is the range of add-ons i can add. i get the
- very occasional internal error, but it always turns out to be a disk-related
- problem (index file is corrupt etc.) so no real probs there.

-
- nope. considered dbase and fox, but neither could gimme free exe files at
- the time. dont know if they can do it now... especially on a network...

-
- my main issue was solid network support. i now run on a novell 386
- netwwork, and net support is fine. if i wanted to i could buy all sorts
- of novell libraries for clipper to do neat tricks, but i dont.
