  17. I've used a reader for data entry in a non-Paradox situation. The reader
  18. interposed itself between the keyboard and the computer, such that a
  19. code swipe would generate the encoded string of characters, just as if
  20. they had been typed at the keyboard. If this functional model fits your
  21. needs, go for it. It's elegant and simple.
