  12. A Bar Code reader normally plugs in series with the keyboard to the PC. 
  13. It acts as a ghost typist and Paradox doesn't have the slightest idea a
  14. bar code reader is in use.  The numbers and letters that appear underneath
  15. the bar code are xmitted as if they were typed by hand.

  17. Look in the back of Byte or PC Magazine for Bar Code readers and call for
  18. free info.  The hardware manufacturer will describe the interface fully
  19. and usually supplies bar code printing software for the PC.  Real easy to use.
