- I don't know where the record/file lock information is
- held in Clipper files, but I've had single user apps
- with the networking locks crash in a variety of ways and never
- had problems accessing them when the pc/app/whatever recovered.
- It's possible that the computer and/or DOS has the file locked
- and not Clipper. I don't use file locks if I can help it
- because they can trash the data if the app. crashes with the
- file locked. Try copying the data file and the EXE to a
- different directory on the same pc and see if the problem
- persists.
