  15.  Can  DBASE IV guru help me on this problem.  I am viewing a database file in the bROWSE mode

  17.  Is there any way I can have access to the field of the record I am currently viewing. The reason I need

  19.  this because by using the ON KEY COMMAND and the present field I am planning to do a few
  20.  
  21.  operations on another database file. e.g If you have two database files one with SSNO and Name, the 
  22.  
  23.  second file contains SSNO. address, employee status etc. While the user is Browsing through the
  24.  
  25.  first database file he wants to get more info on a particular persom so he enters say Shift-F5. At that
  26.  
  27.  time the procedure in ON KEY LABEL DO command should get the field of the record the user
  28.  
  29.  was viewing and get the data from the second file. I talked with DBASE support and they told me 
  30.  
  31.  that there was no way to get the field of the record. Does anybody have solution to this problem.
