  12. I'm working on some data sampling hardware, but need to be able to
  13. transmit the 16Kbit/s data stream along a 9600 b/s modem link... So I
  14. need some way to simply compress the 2kbyte/s (which looks to simply be
  15. fairly repetitive. ie. large strings of 1's and 0's) down by at least
  16. 4:1
