  20. The new version of Hebcal, version 1.2 is now available for anonymous
  21. FTP from israel.nysernet.org in the directory
  22. israel/software/calendar.

  24. DESCRIPTION
  25. Hebcal is a program which prints out the days in the Jewish calendar
  26. for a given gregorian year.  Hebcal is fairly flexible in terms of which
  27. events in the Jewish calendar it displays.  Each of the following can
  28. be individualy turned on or off:
  29.  
  30.   The Hebrew date
  31.   Jewish Holdiays (including Yom Ha'atzmaut and Yom HaShoah etc.)
  32.   The weekly Sedrah
  33.   The day of the week
  34.   The days of the Omer
  35.  
  36. CHANGES 
  37. Since version 1.1, the following changes were made:
  38.   Changed usage-- the -p "parshiot" switch was changed to "-s" sedrot switch
  39.   Fixed certain slippery variable type bugs
  40.   Changed code to K&R old style
  41.   Added Manpage
  42.   Decided to change the "Distribu-Ware" to a normal shareware.
