  17. THE CONFERENCE
  18.  
  19. The biennial Scandinavian Conference on AI is the Scandinavian forum for
  20. scientific exchange and presentation of AI research. The aim of the
  21. conference is to cover all aspects of AI research, including non-symbolic
  22. methods, and to bring together basic research and applied research. The
  23. technical programme will include paper and poster presentations, invited
  24. talks, panels and tutorials. We particularily welcome contributions from 
  25. the Baltic states.

  27. The fourth SCAI is hosted by the Swedish AI Society and will take place in
  28. the science park Electrum situated in the northern suburbs of Stockholm.

  31. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: December 15, 1992.

  34. Papers must be received by the SCAI-93 secretariat before December 15,
  35. 1992. Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by February 1,
  36. 1993. Final camera-ready papers must be received by March 10, 1993.

  38. SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
  39.  
  40. Authors are requested to submit to the SCAI-93 secretariat, 5 copies of
  41. papers written in English in hardcopy format (electronic and fax
  42. submissions will not be accepted). Submitted papers should be unpublished,
  43. original work. Papers should be between 2500 and 5500 words, printed on A4
  44. or 8.5x11" sized paper, double-spaced, in letter quality print and with
  45. 12 point type.

  47. Each copy of the paper should include a separate title page, containing the
  48. title, full names, postal adresses, phone numbers and email addresses of all
  49. authors, an abstract of 100-200 words and an indication whether a paper or 
  50. poster presentation is preferred.
