  29. You are right, I think, when you say that there are a lot of folks that will
  30. condem you actions out of hand.  This is unfortunate.  We are all in the
  31. position of defending our own moralities, lifestyles, etc against people who
  32. are so emotionally involved in the subject (pro or con), that we can't have
  33. rational discussions.

  35. I voted against the amendment, because it is restrictive.  If no laws are
  36. allowed to entitle persons to redress for injustices that have occured over
  37. generations, how are we to help them?  Gays, blacks, Hispanics, women, elder
  38. citizens, unborn children, Hare Krishna, ..., can no longer look to the
  39. legislature for redress.
