  14. So did anyone else catch the Simpson's poke at the Canadian referendum
  15. the other night?  I thought it was a cute comment on the general
  16. U.S. lack of interest in Canada.  The details:

  18. Marge is trying to convince Homer to let her take a job at his plant
  19. so they can get enough money to fix their faulty foundation.  In the
  20. midst of the argument Homer grabs the local paper and says something
  21. like "Oh, I can't talk now Marge.  I see Canada is having a
  22. referendum.  Gotta read!"  It's not an exact quote (being from my
  23. day-old memory) but it gets the gist of it across.  Pretty funny,
  24. imho!
