- So did anyone else catch the Simpson's poke at the Canadian referendum
- the other night? I thought it was a cute comment on the general
- U.S. lack of interest in Canada. The details:

- Marge is trying to convince Homer to let her take a job at his plant
- so they can get enough money to fix their faulty foundation. In the
- midst of the argument Homer grabs the local paper and says something
- like "Oh, I can't talk now Marge. I see Canada is having a
- referendum. Gotta read!" It's not an exact quote (being from my
- day-old memory) but it gets the gist of it across. Pretty funny,
- imho!
