- rg> You straights take for granted all the ways you express heterosexuality,
- and now that #2 passed, I'd call that a "special right". It doesn't take
- much, i.e. "That guy who calls here once in a while during lunch, he's not
- your BOYFRIEND, is he? You're not one of those FAGS, are you? We don't
- want FAGS working here..." Or... "Joe saw you coming out of xxx last
- night. We know only FAGS go there, and so we're wondering about you. If
- it's true, you're FIRED!"
-
- Why would you want to work at such a place? There are other jobs, and unless
- you're a masochist, working at a place where the only thing keeping you from
- being fired is an ordinance like the kind Boulder, Denver, and Aspen have
- is pretty dumb. And, how many employers can really afford firing all their
- gay employees willy-nilly, since they "can" now?
-
- Also, what exactly was the point of those three ordinances? Do you honestly
- think an employer would say straight out "We don't want fags, you're fired"?
- Isn't there a much easier (and less-litigous) way to fire someone?
