  14. Friends and neighbors, ladies and gentlemen, this is simply not the place
  15. for soporific pseudointellectualism.  As I recall, a new group was created
  16. specifically for the discussion of amendment 2.  Please take this
  17. discussion to a more appropriate group.  If I wanted to read pedantic
  18. arguments over fairly trivial things I would simply pick up a Colorado 
  19. Daily.

  25. David Knapp - Quoting current psychological theory is a dubious practice at
  26.     best.  After all, if you did this twenty years ago you would be
  27.     saying that homosexuality is a psychological disease.  The simple
  28.     fact of the matter is that, although there are many people who
  29.     think they do (that goes for individuals both for and against),
  30.     nobody really understands homosexuality.

  32. David Hanson - Sodomy and homosexuality are not the same, as some other
  33.     individual pointed out.  You cannot call yourself a rational,
  34.     intelligent person and at the same time claim that the Bible
  35.     specifically prohibits homosexuality, either.

  38. I have friends who are gay.
  39. I support my gay friends.
  40. I do not support the mainstream gay movement.  In fact, I have rarely seen
  41. a more hateful, spiteful, and immature group of people.  Certainly not
  42. a good way to gain my support for your cause.

  44. I am not a resident of Colorado and intend to stay that way.  I have no
  45. further interest in this so-called "conversation."  Please take it
  46. elsewhere.
