  14. There are many books and journals available in CD-ROM format.  For example,
  15. I have a catalog on my desk from Continuing Medical Education Associates
  16. that containsCD-ROMS of twenty five medical textbooks, the PDR, dozens
  17. of medical journals (e.g. New England Journal of Medicine, American
  18. Family Physician, Scientific American Medicine Consult.  They do not
  19. list the search software, but I assume it comes with the disks.

  21. While I don't have any cites handy, there are several good CD-ROM
  22. directories out there.  Also, Meckler Press publishes a journal
  23. called CD-ROM Librarian which reviews new CD-ROM products.  Ask
  24. your librarian :-)
