  53. I just registered for EMITS.  I got a note back with the subject "EMITS
  54. Instructions," which includes the statement, "You must be a SAS Software
  55. Consultant or SAS Software Representative to register."  As I understand
  56. it, a site's SAS Software Consultant is the person to whom SAS Institute
  57. sends the manuals for new releases.  Actually, a site may have more than
  58. one SAS Software Consultant; it may have one for each SAS product.  The
  59. SAS Software Consultant may call Tech. Support for help.  Often, the SAS
  60. Software Consultant is the same person as the SAS Software Representative.
  61. A site's SAS Software Representative is the person to whom SAS Institute
  62. sends tapes.

  64. Just for the record, each site also has a SAS Training Coordinator (the
  65. person to whom SAS Institute sends information on training classes), and a
  66. Contract Representative (the person to whom SAS Institute sends an executed
  67. copy of the license agreement.  But the SAS Training Coordinator and the
  68. Contract Rep. may not use EMITS.
