  16. I agree with the notion that a statement is more like a flame if it is
  17. less subject to falsification.  Good call!  If I say, "Ulysses is a
  18. dunderhead," I am providing little with which people may argue.
  19. However, if I assert, "Ulysses material is completely outdated
  20. and irrelevant to the concerns modern people," I leave the idea
  21. open to debate.  Interesting that you note the parallel with
  22. Popperian Falsification.  I like it.

  24. How open are we to having our ideas refuted?  Flexibility, honest, and
  25. fair relinquishing does wonders for the education, as long as we
  26. build strong ground as we travel our song lines.
