  24. Graduate students in psychology from around the world communicate
  25. daily through the PSYCGRAD Project.  The main purpose of this
  26. project is to provide a network through which graduate students
  27. in the field of psychology can communicate freely, professionally,
  28. and efficiently.

  30. We share our views, exchange references, debate, announce job
  31. openings, get group discounts on software, locate old colleagues,
  32. exchange conference information, organize get-togethers at
  33. conferences, share techniques, compare schools, maintain a
  34. directory of subscribers, maintain a database of past discussions,
  35. and whatever else we can get our minds on.
  36.  
  37. The project can now be considered well established as a standard of
  38. communication among psychology graduate students.  Currently, we
  39. are a group of over 400 graduate students spanning over 14
  40. different countries.  This is the first and only electronic mailing
  41. system of its kind!!

  43. The project consists of three parts, PSYCGRAD, PSYGRD-D, and
  44. bit.listserv.psycgrad.

  55. immediately.  Subscribe to PSYGRD-D if you wish to receive a digest
  56. form of PSYCGRAD.  Please do not subscribe to both.  Choose one.
