- Julia, I too have experienced the same sports talk in classes. I have
- also been a "football widow" and got tired of it. So I learned the
- game. I held season tickets to the Raiders for five years (too poor now)
- and I can hold my own when the subject comes up. What I have found is

- respect for me and my opinions (inside and outside the world of sports).
