  13. Grace, the display/suppress information is in a single bit of the
  14. "source status flag" at offset x'13' of the bib leader.  It is
  15. tested by mask x'08'.

  17. This info comes from the 4.6 PRM pages RECORDS.13 and RECORDS.17.
  18. I don't know if it can be found in the 5.0.x manuals - I can only
  19. assume that it was implemented as planned in the old "index redesign"
  20. project of Northwestern which has given us MHI, new style GLOBs,
  21. and other goodies.
