- How do other sites use NOTIS printed products?
- We are specifically interested in overdues and bill & fine notices.
-
- We currently route the NOTIS output to a file and furthur process it to print
- on 4 1/4" x 11" mailers. We print approx. 50-75 notices per day, Tues. through
- Sat. When we brought up 5.0.1 circulation in July (from 4.6) some minor format
- changes in the NOTIS product required our program to be updated. We are
- looking again at the value of our customization.
-
- Are any other sites modifying the output of NOTIS programs?
- What type of modification is used?
- How much staff time is needed for maintaining programs, especially with new
- releases?
- Are your patrons satisfied with the format of your notices?
- How long is the delay from when notices are printed to when they are mailed?
-
-
- For those sites using "vanilla" notices, how much staff time is used in folding
- and stuffing notices?
- Do any sites use folding machines?
- Are your patrons satisfied with the format of your notices?
- How long is the delay from when notices are printed to when they are mailed?
-
- I will summarize responses for the list.
-
- Thanks for your response
