  13. Michael, I pray every third Thursday never to have to use NOTIS'
  14. "marvellous" forward recovery features, even tho' I would consider
  15. the system useless without it.

  17. Next time you need to concatenate labelled tapes with different
  18. datasets, look up UNIT=AFF.  It is specifically designed to let
  19. you concatenate multiple volumes using the same tape drive for
  20. each volume sequentially.  If I recall this was the same back in
  21. OS/360...can any other greybeard confirm this?
