  14. The behaviour reported is indeed curious.  I am afraid I can't answer the
  15. questions about NBPI= etc; but I have a supplementary question of my own.
  16. I often use Bitstream Garamond fonts.  In my case the program downloads
  17. only when necessary, with one exception: it always downloads the 30 pt
  18. Roman Garamond font, even when this font is not used anywhere in the
  19. document, and it downloads it first.  This is unaccountable, and somewhat
  20. annoying, since the file is quite large and takes an appreciable time to
  21. download; it also eats up a good chunk of printer memory.
