- I recently discovered this group, and was delighted to find others who use
- NB. I am a couple of weeks away from finishing a final draft of my PhD
- dissertation. This week I printed out my first draft of the complete
- document, including lists of figures and tables, and table of contents.
- NB collected everything beautifully (except where I made a couple of
- mistakes), IBID did the list of cited references like a dream, and I am
- repaid for my hours of work in learning to use the tools. But...
- when the able of contents and other lists are printed out, there is
- a ragged right edge. The LD function does not appear to work correctly.
- I am using NB 3.1, with an HP laserjet iii. I have the 25-in-one
- soft fonts, and edited the hp2-b.prn file to change the setup strings
- so that Times-Roman from the B font-cartridge is called properly. I
- install the fonts into the printer at boot-up, so they are there. All
- the text prints beautifully. But there is something wrong when the
- program tries to figure out how many periods or spaces to insert to put
- page numbers at the right margin. Any ideas? I am completely at a loss,
- and have wasted an incredible amount of time reading the manual and the
- customization guide.
- I'd be grateful for any help.
