- ON A PARTICULAR XPL-SYNTAX PROBLEM PLUS ON-LINE NOTABENE
- LIST MANUAL.
-
- THE XPL-PROGRAM
- Could any XPL-prof please read and comment on the fol-
- lowing small program to improve on its performance? Fur-
- thermore, I wonder how far have the program functions
- been changed in NB4 (with new keyboard functions), and
- where can we read about it at the present stage of docu-
- mentation?
- The specific problem is this: One small set of utilities
- I use every night when doing my NB-List homework after
- downloading is to run first a program that stips all the
- reciever bla-bla down to the bare minimum of date,
- sender and subject. I then run a second program to
- highlight the subject part (for easier reading, and for
- possible retrieval of subjects for indexing and the
- like). It presently runs as follows:
- TF <<lbCon1>>BC se \Subject: \XC
- <<if<<er>>>><<ex>><<ei>>GT DF LE DF M2 XD<<glCon1>>
- What is wrong with the syntax? Its problem is that it
- does not bold-face just the particular line but the
- whole file.
-
- ON DOCUMENTATION
- I have good results on using the list as a manual, and
- expect that I will have useful on-line Orbis information
- from all you folks in this way. I would, however, be
- even happier if folks of the caliber like Itamar etc
- produced such readily available disks...
