  14. I use a grey-scale monitor at home and when doing the Ctrl+Alt+Esc routine
  15. there, I see no change on screen either, but it works anyway. An odd thing
  16. happens on the way back, however. I have to do the whole process twice, i e,
  17. after pressing Ctrl+Esc to restore, not everything gets restored. So I have
  18. to press Ctrl+Alt+Esc again, then Ctrl+Esc again, and everything's okay.
