  15. For Ken Salzberg,
  16. I have a Panasonic KX-P1124 24 pin printer which provides quite nice output
  17. from NB, though of course it is no competition for the HPIIISIs on the
  18. network at NYU.  This printer now exists as the KX-P1123 or 1124i depending
  19. what bells and whistles you want is very reasonably priced.  As dot matrix
  20. printers go this is an excellent choice and I have never experienced a problem
  21. with NB SLS or Lingua.  You do need to buy the additional 32k memory chip
  22. to take advantage of Lingua fonts, however. (If you decide to buy the printer
  23. let me know and I'll tell you where to get what chip to get, don't pay
  24. Panasonic's ridiculous $60 some-odd price for this $10 part.
