- For Ken Salzberg,
- I have a Panasonic KX-P1124 24 pin printer which provides quite nice output
- from NB, though of course it is no competition for the HPIIISIs on the
- network at NYU. This printer now exists as the KX-P1123 or 1124i depending
- what bells and whistles you want is very reasonably priced. As dot matrix
- printers go this is an excellent choice and I have never experienced a problem
- with NB SLS or Lingua. You do need to buy the additional 32k memory chip
- to take advantage of Lingua fonts, however. (If you decide to buy the printer
- let me know and I'll tell you where to get what chip to get, don't pay
- Panasonic's ridiculous $60 some-odd price for this $10 part.
